ULSTER STRONG HOUSING SUMMIT 2.0 SOLUTIONS START HERE: FROM DIALOGUE TO DEVELOPMENT

MAY 15th, 5:30-7

(free to attend, pre-registration required)

Location: Senate Garage, 4 North Street, Kingston, NY

The cost for housing in Ulster County is skyrocketing, and while many talk about the need to develop affordable housing solutions, little new actual construction has started that will solve the challenge.

Ulster Strong will host a deep-diving panel discussion with developer, government and public policy leaders to discuss ways in which housing can move from concept to shovels in the ground. Topics will include financing, the approval process, development costs, public/private partnerships and more, with a focus on successful ways that can move beyond talking to actual construction.

Moderator and Panelists bios below.

The panel discussion will be followed by a networking reception.

Moderator:

Adam Bosch - president and CEO of Hudson Valley Pattern for Progress

Panelists:

Steve Noble - Mayor of the City of Kingston

Jim Sofranko - Town of Olive Supervisor

Tom George - CEO of Whitestone Development Partners

Faith Moore - Senior Vice President of Housing Programs & Solutions at RUPCO
